Medical training and research at WCH

More details to follow but a presentation from a Professor Jackson of UCLAN at a public meeting in Whitehaven last night included an announcement of very welcome measures to build a centre of excellence in medical research and training in Whitehaven involving UCLAN at Westlakes and West Cumberland Hospital.

This could be the first step toward developing WCH as a teaching hospital and is MASSIVELY important to securing the future of the hospital.
